The following is a guide to traffic violations and fines for motorists that could result in the cancellation of their driver’s license in Dubai:
1- Driver is found driving under the influence of an illicit substance or alcohol = the individual’s license is suspended from the day to his conviction till the completion of punishment.
2- The driver is driving a heavy automobile in a manner that proves to be a nuisance to others/puts others in danger/any way that could endanger others and his own life = The individual’s license is suspended for a time period of around 1 year.
3- Individual is found driving in such a manner that causes harm or destruction to private and/or public property = the individual’s license is suspended for a period of one year.
4- In case a heavy vehicle does not stop at a red light = the offense will lead to the 1 year’s suspension of the driving license.
5-The driver of a heavy vehicle causes his or someone else’s vehicle to overturn = the driver’s license will be suspended for around 1 year.
